Physical Therapy
Physical therapy in schools helps students improve their gross motor skills such as walking, balance, and coordination to aid in educational activity participation. PT focuses on strengtehtning muscles, improving mobility, and ensuring students can safely move within the school enviornments. Our team of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants collaborate with teacher and families to provide adaptive equipment and strategies to support the students independence and success in and beyond the classroom.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy in the educational setting helps students develop essential skills for daily activities and participation in school. OTs and OTA/COTAs focus on improving fine motor skills, self-regulation, sensory processing, and daily living tasks to enhance independence. They also provide strategies to address behavioral challenges, recommend classroom modifications, and introduce assistive technology to support learning. By collaborating with teachers and families, OTs ensure that students receive the necessary accommodations and interventions to succeed in the classroom, fostering a more inclusive and supportive learning enviornment.
Speech Therapy
Our team of Speech-Language Pathologists specialize in diagnosing, evaluating and supporting children use a wide range of skills to communicate with others. They also help our students with swallowing disorders strengthen muscles, improve coordination, and teach unique ways for children to become more independent with oral health/feeding.
